Flying Elephant Pub to Host Saturday Event Benefiting Injured Military Members

The event will benefit Operation Game On.

North County residents can support injured military members Saturday by grabbing drinks and listening to live music by Missiles of October

The Flying Elephant Pub & Grill will host a fundraiser benefiting Operation Game On starting at 8 p.m. Saturday at 850 Tamarack Ave., Carlsbad. Half of the $10 cover charge will go to the organizaton as well as a portion of its sales. 

Operation Game On provides golf lessons, apparel and equipment to injured combat troops and their families for rehabilitation and to improve family morale.

“It is an honor to partner with Operation Game On to raise awareness and funds for our brave military members that have been injured in combat," Dave Anson, owner of Flying Elephant Pub & Grill, said in a news release. "This event is a great opportunity for the community to come together, support a wonderful cause and have a great time.”
