Luxury Pooch Hotel Offers Dogs Spaw Facials, Pawdicures and More (Video Clip/Gallery)

The newly opened Pooch Hotel in Mission Valley features boarding rooms with orthopedic beds, 40' televisions streaming DogTV and webcams so pet parents can keep an eye on their pooch all the time.

A blueberry facial and oatmeal shampoo are only two of the luxuries that await dogs at the Pooch Hotel in Mission Valley. Dogs staying in the $100 a night palace suite get Pillow Talk turn-down service that includes tummy rubs and one-on-one time. The super deluxe suite also includes luxury bedding, group playtime and potty breaks, 40-inch flat panel television showing DogTV, and 24-hour web cameras for pet parents to check in on.

The Pooch Hotel features 72 suites, three large supervised play areas with web cams and real grass, rubber flooring, a spaw that will even do pawidcures, and day care options.

Daycare rates start at $20 and boarding services start at $50 a night.

Daycare guests receive all day play from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dogs are separated during play according to size and personality.

Hotel guests play from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., but receive several naps in their room throughout this time period.

Exercise amenities include a professional canine treadmill.

The Pooch Hotel is owned by Petco and now in eight locations across the U.S. The soon to open Santa Monica Pooch Hotel will feature a pool and cabana area for pups.
