Nation's Most Technologically Advanced Cell Phone Store Opens in Carlsbad

The T-Mobile PhoneZone located across from the in the Paseo Carlsbad Center at 5617 Paseo Del Norte, is the first of its kind in Carlsbad. Store owner Ken Plachno says it is the “technologically most advanced cell phone store in the nation and very experimental.”

The store includes touchscreen technology that allows a shopper to compare phones and services, a smart table, window projection displays and more.

“Additionally, we are the first in the nation to have an onsite wireless training facility. The Learning Center is a customer training facility that is state of the art and the future of wireless,” explains Plachno.

Classes are available to T-Mobile customers for $15 and Non-T-Mobile customers for $20. The topics range from basic handset use, to accepting credit card payments through your device, and how to do with Google Docs.
