Fried pickles, veggie frites and fresh-made black bean burgers are just some of the unique items on Smashburger's menu.
The number one selling burger at Smashburger's San Diego locations is (fittingly) the San Diego burger, which has avocado, cilantro, onions, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and spicy chipotle mayo on a torta roll.
Smashburger recenly opened an Oceanside location and is working on a Carlsbad location.
San Diego franchise Partner Wayne Mandelbaum says he works up to 16-hours a day building the brand and making sure each location stays "a positive work environment."
