Sport Clips in Carlsbad to 'Help A Hero'

Sport Clips on 2708 W Loker Ave will fundraise to provide scholarships for veterans and active duty military get free haircuts on Nov. 11.

Sport Clips on 2708 W Loker Ave is joining the more than 1,100 locations across the country in a single mission - to raise $575,000 for the company’s annual “Help A Hero” fundraising campaign, including Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship Program. Each scholarship will provide up to $5,000 of assistance to veterans who are pursuing an education at post-secondary institutions, including trade schools.

Donations to Help A Hero will be collected in-store through November 11, Veterans Day. 

“As a small business owner, I’m proud I can join this national effort to help our nation’s heroes through these scholarships,” says Ron Chamberlain, Carlsbad Sport Clips owner.

Chamberlain’s store will also offer free haircuts to Active Duty Military on November 11, 2013. In addition they will donate a dollar for every paying client that gets serviced at the shop.
