MaintenanceNet Customer Earns Manufacturing Leadership Award for Service Sales Expansion, Innovation and Channel Enablement

Carlsbad-based MaintenanceNet, Inc. announced that a key customer has been recognized with a 2014 Manufacturing Leadership Award (ML Award) in the Customer Value Leadership category. The award pays tribute to the global networking manufacturer’s innovative service annuity program, which is powered by MaintenanceNet service revenue automation technology and designed to increase service revenue, expand sales and benefit channel partners and customers on a global scale.

Using MaintenanceNet’s data-driven AutoQuote™ technology, the manufacturer has been able to simplify and streamline maintenance service contract renewals by automating the time-consuming administrative task of creating service renewal quotes and delivering them to customers. AutoQuote also assists resellers with ordering unattached services (products sold without service agreements) for their customers, and offers web-based visibility into relationships spanning contracts, assets, partners and end customers for improved communication and management across the supply chain ecosystem.

“In the high-tech marketplace, customers have many choices when it comes to the technology purchases they make,” said Kelly Crothers, vice president of marketing for MaintenanceNet. “Competition is fierce and frequently it is the manufacturers that are able to maintain the strongest ties with their customers over the long haul that win out in the end. Maintenance service contracts and contract renewals represent an effective way to maintain those ties, and we’d like to thank Frost & Sullivan and the Manufacturing Leadership Council for recognizing their importance and value by honoring our customer and their initiative with this award.”

By expediting complex, multi-tiered sales processes for the manufacturer using extreme automation, AutoQuote enabled resellers to better serve their end customers while optimizing high-volume, low-dollar service renewals, adds Crothers. “With the speed, accuracy and automation that MaintenanceNet provides, we’ve put in place a ‘low-touch/no-touch’ approach to selling and processing these service renewals. We’re proud to serve our customer with a valuable way to drive market engagement and channel enablement and we congratulate them on this tremendous recognition,” she said.
