Seeing the Future of the USA

Editorial about national political corruption from the 60s to the present followed by a prediction of hope for the future through Patches.

Occasionally I have an uncanny ability to perceive things in advance.  For instance, about a year prior to my 16 year old’s death, she proudly showed me her friend’s new car.  As I viewed the car, I had a flash image of the car smashed to smithereens and told Candice, “It’s a beautiful car, but please promise me you will never sit in the back seat.”  Candice looked at me and said, “why not?”  I said, “because it’s not safe,” and reiterated my request for her to not sit in the back seat.   She agreed to not sit in the back, then ignored her promise and was killed in the back seat of that car in a terrible accident.

I also felt the future back in the 60s when the country was in chaos and in the 70s, when Nixon ran for President.  I knew he was a crook.  Even though I was a strong Republican, I didn’t vote for Nixon.  My perspective, sadly, proved to be correct.   If you think I’m a leftist, guess again. That’s just a word to invalidate what I know as the truth.  For instance a recently published book, Nixon’s Darkest Secrets,  by Don Fulsom, shows the corruption of Nixon who sabotaged the 1968 Paris Peace talks by sending Anna Chan Chennault to visit President Nguyen Van Thieu in order to tell him he should hold out on the peace talks until after the U.S. election.  Though it’s treason to contact a foreign power in the middle of a war, Nixon ignored the law to assure his bid for the U.S. presidency.  And with help from the manipulative Republican Party and corrupt money, he won and far more American soldiers died than was necessary.

And though you may think I was a Johnson supporter, I was not.  If I had been old enough to vote, I would have cast my vote for Goldwater because I could see what the Johnson administration and scheming Democrats would do.  Together, they changed American life by creating a socialist agenda  i.e. The Great Society and The War on Poverty.    In spite of my disagreement with Johnson, I have respect for him because as far as I know he didn’t violate the law or commit treason.

Nixon performed despicable, almost unbelievable acts which were never fully exposed until this recent Fulsom book.  You can read about the alcoholic, vindictive president with life-long connections to the Mafia and see for yourself.  And for those who discount the mob connections in the book, I conversed with a woman who had often served Bebe Rebozo and Nixon at the La Costa resort where she had worked as a waitress during the 60s.

But that’s not the reason for this blog.  Today, as I confront the future, I see clouds over the USA that will destroy the country if either of the two currently leading presidential candidates wins, though it seems that both Obama and Romney are sincere in their positions.  I also see the dark storm over the USA if long-time members of Congress are re-elected.   The only hope I can see is if non-politicians who love the USA and the United States Constitution, are elected to replace all members of the old guard in D.C.  We must remove all politicians who cater only to corporate lobbyists rather than the people they are supposed to represent.

The media has a role in saving America, too.   The media can be either a positive or negative influence, but I’m afraid the current media is owned by a money machine, too.  Therefore, I look forward to the growth of the Carlsbad Patch and Patches across the country which can offer the truth.  Patch words have the ability to bequeath optimism for the future of my amazing grandchildren by retaining editors with integrity.  That’s what I can see now.

'...MPH degree program to attend a 3-day workshop ... challenge the CNA licensure examination inRead More California.... ... Aristotle felt that by becoming licensed professionals in the U.S. shortly after their arrival to the shores of the U.S., they would have a greater opportunity to receive better clinical positions when they applied for the work-study internships that they were eligible to participate in....' the school told students that were enrolled in masters' degrees that certification as a cna was part of the road to obtaining a masters degree ?? stop right there... masters in public health is an administrative position that has nothing to do with being a cna....and i'm sure people didn't travel thousands of miles to do the grunt work in a hospital.... yea, getting a cna license is a great suggestion for an 18 year old that's going into the nursing field....but not for someone in the masters' program.... and fyi phony college.....in this country a person has to have a 4 year degree before they can apply for the masters' program....
