Where Have all The True Environmentalists Gone?

Environmentalists movement seems dead and owned by corporations or governments. The result is poisoned water and food along with toxic toys and corruptible gas and electric meters.

Where have all the true environmentalist gone, I mean those, who like, me, don’t believe in manipulated "hug a tree" green issues generated by the corporate/government establishment.  We genuine environmentalists believe in truth, freedom, and liberty, along with preserving the environment for future generations.

The typical environmentalists these days appear to have the wrong priorities.  They don’t seem to be true Californians, either, since they fight against the Children’s Pool which was created to make a protected swimming area from strong ocean currents so children could swim in the ocean just yards from the seals resting on the rock near them. My daughter loved that place because of the union with nature offered to her as she learned to not fear the ocean.  Now, due to paid environmentalists, many from outside of our county, the area has been roped off and become over populated with seals and sea lions who pollute the water in the children’s pool area with their excrement.

Another key example of today’s counterfeit environmentalist movement was their passive acceptance of rat poison dumped into our California water.  Yes, rat poison, a nerve toxin which is chemically produced and called fluoride.

My city's water supply was fluoridated November 1, 2007 following years of citizen battles against this in our state.  For the city of Carlsbad to do this to the people was unconscionable.  But to not have an environmentalist group protesting against this was even more mind boggling.  I still wonder how our representatives were indoctrinated by the aluminum industry to believe that fluoride is good for the teeth?  Were they paid off?  Or were the people behind this poisoning of our water transplants from the other side of the Rockies such as Nancy Pelosi, who want us to emulate their zany East Coast life?

Did you know that there are trace amounts of arsenic found in fluoride chemicals added to drinking water supplies, according to a U.S. Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) 2007 website report?   Arsenic is a nerve toxin, as well as being a carcinogen, according to a report from the prestigious U.S. National Academy of Sciences.

Lawyer Paul Beeber, President, New York State Coalition Opposed to Fluoridation  said  "Fluoridation has proven useless in fighting tooth decay in America’s low-income population as the recent unfortunate ‘tooth-decay’ death of a 12-year-old Maryland boy living in a fluoridated area has proven …No child is or ever was fluoride-deficient…" says Beeber. "We're glad the CDC finally admits that arsenic can be found in fluoridation chemicals. But CDC should go further and list all undesirable chemicals and impurities allowed in the fluoridation chemicals, and make it publicly known so consumers truly can make an informed choice."

Since the 50s, independent scientific evidence showed that sodium fluoride shortens life span, promotes various cancers and makes humans stupid, docile, and subservient.  Honest scientists tried to blow the whistle on sodium fluoride's mega-bucks propaganda campaign, but were given a large dose of professional 'black-listing' and the press never followed up on what happened.  I say follow the money to find the control.  In 1952 a slick campaign shoved the concept of 'fluoridation' through Public Health departments and dental organizations. This campaign has continued right up to the present day so no one challenges it, not dentists or even environmentalists.

Years ago, when I expressed my opposition to the addition of fluoride to my (Carlsbad) water, Denise Vedder of the Carlsbad City Manager’s office responded by writing me that fluoride naturally occurs in water as it is in runoff from rocks.  This is true, but the fluoride that naturally occurs in water runoff from rocks lacks the concentration of the toxic fluoride used in mining aluminum.   It's NOT THE SAME.

It seems to me that today’s environmentalist groups refuse to fight the battle against poisoning our water supply and thus our bodies. From my soapbox I personally think the aluminum industry should find another place to dump its toxic byproduct. It’s time, too, for environmentalists to stand up and fight against real environmental hazards. They’ve ignored fluoride poisoning, food poisoning from contaminated products, toxic toys from foreign countries, and corruptible Smart Meters made with our stimulus funds in a foreign country. Instead they’ve been destroying private enterprises.  The fake environmentalist lobby managed to ruin our lumber industry, destroying both jobs and the forests.  The lumber jobs moved out of the country when they stopped it and now the forests burn and devastate our air because of the density of the trees that wouldn’t be there if lumber workers had been able to cut and reseed.

Where have all the environmentalists gone?  Gone to big business everyone.  When will they ever learn?  When will they ever learn?
