Neuter Scooter Coming to Carlsbad Nov. 9
Neuter Scooter" is a mobile, veterinarian staffed surgery unit operated by the Spay Neuter Action Project offering low cost spay and neutering.
Carlsbad residents can make an appointment for a special, low cost spay and neuter clinic coming to Carlsbad City Hall, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Saturday, Nov. 9, by calling 1-866-SPAY BUS (1-866-772-9287).
The so called “Neuter Scooter” is a mobile, veterinarian staffed surgery unit operated by the Spay Neuter Action Project or “SNAP.”
Carlsbad residents interested in getting their dogs and cats spayed or neutered may call 619-525-3047 or 866-772-9287 to make an appointment for Nov. 9. The surgery costs range from $40 to $85. Financial aid and rebates are available. There is no extra charge for "in heat" or pregnant dogs and cats.

The service includes:
- pre anesthetic exam
- nail trim
- flea and/or worm treatment if needed
- id tag
Dogs will also receive rabies vaccine and a one year license if needed.
