Award Winning CHSTV Students Teach Movie Making

If behind the camera is where you like to be then you’ll love Movie Makers, a week long camp starting Monday, July 29th at the CEF Summer Enrichment Program. There are still spaces available in this camp where cameras are in the hands of 6th to 9th grade students to create original short films with student experts from the award winning CHSTV!

Hannah Evans, current Executive Producer of CHSTV, has been in broadcasting since 7th grade and will bring her producing expertise to the camp.  Taylor Team will be teaching camp movie makers to expertly edit using Final Cut software, his specialty at CHSTV.  Both are seniors, and together they produced a film seen nationwide titled “Steering Teens Straight”, a film focused on preventing drunk driving.  Don’t miss this opportunity to enroll in this great camp taught by these expert Movie Makers.

Also offered next week is FX Camp: Movie taught by professional FX makeup artist Autumn Conquest. In this camp students learn to mold and sculpt visual effects makeup to transform actors into characters. Spaces are still available.  Enroll in both for a full day of movie making fun!
