Students ACHIEVE MORE! Homework Success at CEF After School Program

Students start on top and stay on top of homework and classroom studies at ACHIEVE MORE! Homework Success, an after school class offered by the Carlsbad Educational Foundation.  Credentialed teachers help students achieve academic goals and succeed with classroom studies in these classes offered after school, on campus at CUSD elementary and middle schools.  Teachers assist with assignments and teach organization skills in small classes with a no more than a 12:1 student-teacher ratio. 

Students have shown marked improvement in the first 8 week session.  "We are please to continue to offer this great class that has helped so many students and families," says program manager Sandy Haasis.  "Our teachers are highly skilled, educated and creative with no less than 15 years experience teaching. We believe by engaging students as individuals, and responding to their unique learning needs we can help them find success."

Session 2 begins next week at Aviara Oaks, Calavera Hills, Buena Vista, Hope, Kelly, Magnolia, Pacific Rim and Poinsettia elementary schools; and Aviara Oaks and Calavera Hills middle schools.  Financial Aid is available.
