The Stardust Arts and Art Miles, Garrison Special Mural to Travel to Italy

Oceanside, CA  - Ahead of schedule and ready to move into the New Year.  With their portion of the 5'X12' canvas completed in acrylics is ready for travel to Narnia, Italy where magic paintbrushes will complete the "fairy tale" theme.

The 13 Stardust Artists students in the "Angels Program" at Garrison Elementary, sprinkled glittering fairy dust and dreams, as together with the wonderful coordinators, Joanne Tawfillis of Art Miles Mural Project and the Stardust Arts Director, Cheryl Ehlers, orchestrated a wonderful piece of collaborated youth art work completed by grades 2nd - 5th.

To complete the canvas, it will be shipped to Narnia, Italy for Mr. Giuseppe Fortunati and other youth, who will jump outside the lines, border and boundaries of conventional school-art-projects and take you on a “Fairy Tale" journey of  Narnia, Italy. Together the students of this delightful town will complete one beautiful mural of dreams.  "This is the stuff dreams are made of", stated Cheryl Ehlers, Art Director of Stardust Arts.  An adventure not to be forgotten by many and an anticipation to be awaited, as the return of the mural will mean a successful triumph for global art and the communication it provides to all. What a great opportunity to all work together for such a wonderful cause as art and world unity.

Recently, Stardust brought onboard its new Art Instructor Joanne Tawfilis, and together the students explored and drew out magical colors and imagination that were truly individual and unique to each of these rising stars.  They will now eagerly await the return and the magic it will bring to their school they represent.

In May, Garrison Elementary in Oceanside will host a "Pageant of the Masters" where the mural will be on display  with additional artwork that represents the common goals of visual arts and the effect it has on everyone lives. We hope the completed piece will be a huge draw of curiosity and admirations for all the students that have places a piece of their dreams in permanent art.

Stardust wants to thank the parents, and PTO of Garrison Elementary for  encouraging  their children to keep creativity alive and learn to work together, while at the same time cultivating their individuality by becoming great innovators, thinkers, change makers and future people our world truly needs.  We are all proud to be arts advocate and align ourselves with individuals that have a common purpose in life and are on the same pages of music in art”, stated Ehlers and Tawfilis. What a great 2012 year it is going to be.

Meanwhile, we wait, dream and envision the magic that will return home to California in 2013. View the canvas at  http://youtu.be/mpUlX5ce6Fw.

I'd say the recent events against which they were protesting are far more consequential than aRead More freeway traffic back-up. Just a guess.

How did they cause a backup, exactly? I'm asking because I saw them, and am wondering how theyRead More backed it up. If it's because people were slowing to read the signs, you can't really get mad at them for that.

I stopped using Internet Explorer years ago. Firefox is safer and the possibility of getting aRead More virus is much less. I have no issues with Firefox.

And if you use an IPAD early in the day as I do, the problem is that there is so much on each pageRead More that it is hard to scroll with your finger(s) because there is just so much clutter that you keep losing your story to an annoying ad.
