Boudin SF Bakery Opening in Encinitas June 6 with Free Bread Giveaway

The following is from Boudin SF:

The popular bakery Boudin SF will open its newest location June 6 in Encinitas at Camino Village Plaza at 296 N. El Camino Real, near HomeGoods. If you’re a fan of sourdough bread, make sure to get in line early that Thursday for its 7 a.m. opening as Boudin SF will reward the first 100 customers in line with a free loaf of its world famous Original San Francisco Sourdough French Bread every day for one year.

The first spot in line will be reserved for North County Food Bank, the subsidiary of a local organization, North County Community Services.

On June 4 and 5, the new location will host pre-opening events whose proceeds will be donated directly to a local charity, Conner’s Cause. “We are thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of Boudin SF in Encinitas, our seventh Southern California location,” CEO Dave Wolfgram said. “This is the second of many Boudin SF locations opening in 2013, and we expect another positive reception from our guests.  As always, we look forward to bringing a little bit of San Francisco to this new store and supporting the local Encinitas community through North County Food Bank and Conner’s Cause.”

Boudin SF will be open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.; and Sunday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.  For daily menu updates and to place phone orders, call (760) 274-1520.

Carlsbad Patch editor Deanne Goodman highly recommends trying the Grilled Brie With Apples & Fig Jam sandwich at Boudin.
