Seafire Restaurant + Bar to Open in Carlsbad

The new eatery will be located at 6030 Paseo Del Norte Drive where the Greek Village restaurant used to be.

Seafire Restaurant +Bar will have between 10-14 taps serving local craft beers and an open kitchen, featuring a wood burning pizza oven and menu with fresh seafood, handmade pastas, as well other cuisines from Italy and Greece, said executive chef/partner Adam Stuart.

The restaurant located at 6030 Paseo Del Norte is currently under renovation and plans to open by the end of summer. The owner is Gus Manassakis who previously owned and operated the Greek Village restaurant at the same location.

"We will start out being open for lunch and dinner but have intentions to expand to include brunch on the weekends," said Stuart who added, "Outside patio seating will be available along with a fire pit area designed to be a place for local industry people to come have a drink and some great food from our late night menu while catching up with friends and unwinding from their night."

Stuart graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Las Vegas and worked at Mandalay Bay and Bellagio before returning to his hometown of San Diego where he worked at Whiskenladle in La Jolla, the Four Seasons Resort Aviara in Carlsbad, reopened the Sky Room as Chef de Cuisine at La Valencia hotel, served as Sous Chef at Bernardo's in Ranch Bernardo, and most recently Executive Chef at Sbicca located in Del Mar.
