Melina Smith is almost two. Her family told Carlsbad Patch the care she is getting at Rady Children's Hospital is above and beyond.
Melina has been in the hospital for more than a week with pneumonia, the flu and a fever.
Her family thanks the hospital staff and asks the community of Carlsbad to think positive thoughts for this young Carlsbad resident.
