What's Up: Carlsbad Music Festival will host the 10th annual Village Walk featuring 44 performances by 30 acts. Village Walk will kick off with Giri Nata Children’s Balinese Gamelan from the Center for World Music at Magee Park, and will end with rock and jazz duo, the Mattson2, at Boxd.
When: 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday, June 21.

FAIRY FESTIVAL AT SAN DIEGO BOTANIC GARDEN
What's Up: Fairies of all ages will fly over to the San Diego Botanic Garden for a day of music, crafts and more. Wear your favorite fairy costume or come as yourself.
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 22.
Where: San Diego Botanic Garden 230 Quail Gardens Dr., Encinitas
Price: $6-$12.
FAMILY DAY AT LUX ART INSTITUTE
What's Up: Bring the entire family over to the Lux Art Institute. Family Day will feature music, refreshments, puppets, hands-on project and more.
When: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 22.
Where: Lux Art Institute, 1550 S. El Camino Real, Encinitas.
Price: Free.
SUMMER KICKOFF CELEBRATION
What's Up: Museum of Making Music will celebrate the beginning of summer and offer free admission. Kids, families and art enthusiasts of all ages are invited to participate.
When: 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 22.

SUMMER CONCERT AT HERITAGE PARK
What's Up: Sundays at Heritage Park Concert Series will feature contemporary band, Mo and the Other Guys.
