Spooky Fog Advisory Issued For Coastal Cities Monday Evening

The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory Monday afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued an urgent weather message that coastal areas of San Diego and Orange counties should expect low clouds and fog from 9 p.m. Monday to 9 a.m. Tuesday morning. Visibility may fall below a quarter mile, to provide potentially optimal conditions for a zombie walk or impersonation ofMichael Jackson's "Thriller."

The dense fog advisory also applies to San Diego's inland valleys west of Interstate 15.

"Flight delays are possible at Lindbergh Field and Palomar Airport in Carlsbad," the advisory said.
