Student Journalists Showcase Stories
Carlsbad High School Television Booster Club presents the first community-wide "Carlsbad Schools Broadcast Showcase" on May 31.

Carlsbad High School Television Booster Club presents the first community-wide “Carlsbad Schools Broadcast Showcase”, a celebration of 2012-13 school-year stories produced by CHS as well as Valley, Aviara Oaks and Calavera Hills middle schools’ broadcasting programs.
The showcase will feature stories submitted in various contests at the Student Television Network national convention earlier this year, where VMSTV won the coveted Sweet 16 competition, CHSTV won its sixth Award of Excellence and Aviara Oaks and Calavera Hills also received national recognition in several categories.
Other prominent and popular stories aired throughout the year will also be on the program.CHSTV students will emcee the evening and representatives from all programs will be present to talk about their broadcast stories.
The screening begins at 6:30 on Friday, May 31 at Shulman Auditorium at the Dove Library. Donation suggestion is $5.
