2nd Annual Community Christmas Party

Señor Grubby’s will hold our 2nd Annual Community Christmas Party to Benefit ‘Got Your Back San Diego’, taking place on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 6-10pm, and featuring raffles, silent auctions, giveaways, and much more to raise money & awareness for ‘Got Your Back San Diego’.  The location address is 377 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad 92008. Event website: www.eatgrubbys.com

The event is free & open to the public, all ages are welcome. We invite families to come in & take a photo with Santa Claus! Santa will be making his appearance at our party, and encourages all guests to bring an item to donate to the ‘Got Your Back’ food & backpack bins. Some raffle items include Canvas on Demand, K1 Raceway, Harbor Cruise or Whale Watching, San Diego Symphony, Aquarium of the Pacific, and so much more. Last year’s turnout was very successful in raising money, collecting food items and backpacks, and informing the community of ‘Got Your Back San Diego’ & their purpose in serving North County youth.

A portion of the party will be held in the parking lot, featuring booths from local businesses offering up goods and services. All proceeds from the raffle & silent auction will be donated to ‘Got Your Back San Diego’. We will be collecting food items such as boxes of cereal, shelf-stable milk, canned vegetables, granola bars, peanut butter, jelly, etc. Backpacks are also appreciated, as they are filled at the end of the school week and passed on to children who qualify as homeless under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.
