Valentine’s Mixer to Benefit ‘Urban Surf 4 Kids’

CA – Señor Grubby’s will hold our 2nd
Annual ‘Los Lonelies’ Valentine’s Mixer to Benefit ‘Urban Surf 4 Kids’, taking
place on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 7-10pm, and featuring silent auctions to raise money &
awareness for ‘Urban Surf 4 Kids’.  The location address is 377 Carlsbad Village

The event is free & open to the public. We will
be offering food & drink specials, fun games & prizes, Speakeasy
‘Betrayal’ Imperial Red on draft, and much more. Some auction items include
theatre tickets to the Vista Moonlight Amphitheatre & The Star Theatre
Company in Oceanside. Our first annual ‘Los Lonelies’ Mixer was a fun evening
designed to offer an alternative to the traditional, overpriced, stressful
holiday that many people dread. We hoped that the event would be a fun night for
singles, couples, friends, and families. The mixer was a great success, which
is why we are holding our second annual this Valentine’s Day.

All proceeds from the silent auctions will be
donated to ‘Urban Surf 4 Kids’. Urban Surf 4 Kids is a 501(c)3 non-profit
organization whose team and volunteers empower orphans and foster youth using
water-based activities while providing them with the means to give back to
their communities. They introduce kids to surfing, swimming, paddle boarding
and most activities under the sun in the ocean and on the beach. In offering an
opportunity for kids to connect with the environment and community for a day of
fun and laughter, they then motivate them to join their journey in changing the
world as they organize service projects that better the environment, lives of
others, and themselves.
