The Carlsbad Senior Center will offer a free Medicare 2014 workshop on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Nick Salerno and Dennis Bone of Senior Security Insurance Service will be on hand to answer questions and help sort through the speculation and confusion related to Medicare and The Affordable Health Care Act. The Annual Election Period runs now through Dec. 7. This is the time of year in which anyone with Medicare can join, drop or switch Part D plans. Learn what you can expect from Medicare next year and what changes can be made during the Annual Election Period.
