The Carlsbad Senior Center offers three free trial classes for adults ages 50 and older on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013. Seniors are able to try one or all of the selected classes for free before registering to meet the instructor and make sure the class is a good fit for them. No pre-registration is required. Classes are as follows:
Live Long: Do Qigong!
1 to 2 p.m.
Increase energy, reduce stress and improve sleeping patterns. All physical conditions welcome.
PiYo (Pilates and Yoga)
2:10 to 2:25 p.m.
Reduce stress and improve core strength, flexibility and posture.
2:35 to 2:50 p.m.
Create a union of body, mind and spirit. Not suitable for beginners.
