Tour the exhibition and then enjoy hands-on art projects under the guidance of knowledgable arts educators and volunteers. All materials will be provided.

John Cederquist is known for masterful plays on dimensional illusion and the dreamlike quality of his ingenious furniture and wood pieces. Cederquist draws his inspiration for comic strips, trompe l'oeil (fool the eye) painting and classical Japanese arts and crafts.

Family Open Studios is a free program offered by the City of Carlsbad's Cultural Arts Office.
