We're holding a Shoe Drive for charity to Fight Pulmonary Fibrosis this weekend at Ralphs Poinsettia Village Plaza in Carlsbad from 10 am to 2 pm. Pulmonary Fibrosis is an incurable devastating lung disease that scars the lung tissues and overtime they become hard and thick and turn into rocks to where you can't take a full breath in or out. THERE IS NO RESEARCH FOR PULMONARY FIBROSIS and its taking thousands of lives every year and we're just touching the tip of the iceberg. We're trying to help raise money for our best friend, Kelly Kirkland, who needs a lung transplant and Has NO Family. Your shoes will help raise money for Kelly, raise awareness for Pulmonary Fibrosis and your shoes will be recycled and refurbished and sent off to developing nations around the world as a low cost alternative to new shoes. Without your help, Kelly will fall through the cracks because she didn't have the money upfront. With your help, Kelly will have a chance and not fall through the cracks and be able to get this lung transplant.
