Institute of Engineering and Technology Presentation - from Cellular Technology 1G to 4G and beyond

The Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) extends an invitation to attend an open presentation by Dr Kevin Murray, Director of Engineering at Qualcom Inc as he talks us through the evolution in wireless cellular technology from its inception in the 1980's to today's 4G capable devices and gives an insight into future developments that aim to satisfy the ever increasing demand for mobile data services.

The meeting opens at 10:00am and the presentation starts at 10:30; for those who wish to join the members and regional committee members in attendance you are welcome to join us for lunch afterwards and find out more about the IET.
