Mayor Matt Hall to speak at Carlsbad Republican Women luncheon

Carlsbad Mayor Matt Hall will be the quest speaker at the Carlsbad Republican Women Federated luncheon, Tuesday, September 24 at the Hilton Garden Inn.  The Mayor will address the group on the status of the city, its sales tax revenue and number of job increases over the last year, current and planned projects and issues facing Carlsbad. In a recent State of the City address, Mayor Hall announced that Carlsbad was name the most Internet-savvy business community in California by Internet-savvy Google Inc.  This honor is given to one city in each state selected by Google and an independent research firm based on the number of busineses the city has that has websites and e-commerce functions, uses blogs and social media, and embraces mobil apps.  Also on the program will be the 7th Annual celebration of CRWF's "Salute to College and Young Republicans".  Invited College Republicans are representative from CSU San Marcos, Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego State, UcSan Diego, and University of San Diego, as well as the San  Diego Young Republicans.  The luncheon social hour begins at 11:00 a.mm. and cost $30 for CRWF members and $35 for non-members.  Please RSVP by  Thursday, September 19 to Niki Coates at 760-931-9420 or nikic@roadrunner.com.  CRWF meeets every fourth Tuesday.  For more information visit www.carlsbadrepublicans.com
