Family Open Studios in the Carlsbad Sculpture Garden

Our very popular and free hands-on art-making event comes to the Sculpture Garden! All materials and workspace are provided. Designed for all ages, no reservations are required and stay as long as you like.

Our outdoor exhibition combines tensile strength and delicate whimsy, Encinitas artists Jeffery Laudenslager and Deanne Sabeck create elegant sculptures. Jefferey's slender steel and titanium constructions gently span and turn in the wind and have earned inclusion in public and private collections around the world. Deanne's works in metal and dichotic glass, which continually divide the spectrum, transmitting one color while reflecting its opposite, attract major commissions worldwide.
The Sculpture Garden is open Mon- Thursday 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
