In partnership with Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas La Costa, the La Costa Film Festival
is thrilled to announce a limited return engagement of the award winning
documentary Walking the Camino: Six Ways
to Santiago,
with a screening on March 2nd, and 3rd.

 On Sunday, March 2nd, Lydia
B. Smith, the Producer/Director of the film will be present for a Special Pre-Screening
reception, hosted by the Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas, and featuring a variety of
gourmet appetizers and selected fine wines. She will also be available after
the screening for a Q & A session. The film will also be shown on Monday,
March 3rd, but as a screening only.

The documentary has garnered numerous
awards and has sold out in many film festival screenings around the globe, including
its premiere in Carlsbad for the inaugural La Costa Film Festival last fall.
Due to its tremendous popularity and powerful message of perseverance and self-reflection,
the La Costa Film Festival in partnership with Cinepolis, and the film’s
director/producer, are proud to welcome Walking
the Camino
back to Carlsbad for this limited engagement.

The film features the stories of six modern-day pilgrims who range from 3
to 73 years of age as they walk the historic 500-mile journey along Spain’s
1200-year-old Camino de Santiago trail. Film viewers are able to experience a
journey into the hearts and minds of the travelers as they cope with blisters,
exhaustion, loneliness and self-doubt. The film presents universal themes
through personal stories for those seeking to redefine the way they live, or deepen
their relationship with others, and to rediscover the true meaning of their connection
with the world.
