The Center Chorale: King David

Presented by the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, the Center Chorale was introduced last season and is North San Diego County’s premier 50-voice choral ensemble, conducted by Joe Stanford. Dr. Stanford is the past chair of the Palomar College Performing Arts Department and led the Palomar Chorale for most of his 37 years at the college.

The Center Chorale offers a series of seven concerts this season, with acclaimed guests artists and creative programming, including concerts by the Center Children’s Chorale. The season will kick off with Arthur Honegger’s dramatic oratorio, King David, paired with Leonard Bernstein’s powerful Chichester Psalms, on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. in the Center Theater.
