Donate New Coats to Drug Endangered Children

When Carlsbad Police officers take kids into protective custody, they need essentials like a warm jacket.

The following is from the City of Carlsbad Police Department's facebook page:

Help Tyson collect new coats for some chilly kids

It is getting cold out there and we are collecting NEW jackets for some great kids. We are collecting NEW (with tags) coats for Drug Endangered Children, a division of County of San Diego: Child Welfare Services. These kids are taken into protective custody and need essentials like a warm jacket. Corporal Darbie Ernst is heading-up the NEW coat drive and has put a collection bin in the lobby of the Safety Center (2560 Orion Way, M-F, 8-5). NEW coats from newborn to 17 years are needed. Please help us keep these kids warm this winter.
