Carlsbad Republican Women Hosts
Superior Court Judge Candidates Forum
Carlsbad, CA – On Tuesday, April 24, 2012, Mike Slater, 760 KFMB Talk Radio, will emcee an important election educational forum hosted by the Carlsbad Republican Women Federated (CRWF). Superior Court Judge candidate David Berry, Deputy District Attorney, is vying for Superior Court Seat #24. Candidates Jim Miller, Litigation Attorney and Robert Amador, Deputy District Attorney, are vying for Superior Court Seat #25. Gary Kreep, Attorney and Garland Peed, Deputy District Attorney are vying for Superior Court Seat #34 All three Seats are being vacated by retiring judges. Each candidate will have five minutes to introduce themselves, thirty minutes in which to answer questions equally directed to each candidate, and one minute to make their final remarks. It is our hope to educate voters about the least known candidates on the ballot, especially since the sitting judges are retiring. With the erosion of our constitutional rights, it is all the more important to elect judges that we think will uphold the law based on what we learn about them.
The forum will be held at the CRWF April 24nd General Meeting held at the Hilton Garden Inn, 6450 Carlsbad Blvd in Carlsbad. Cost is $29 for members and $35 for non-members. Please RSVP by April 18, to Jackie Peacock at 760-390-4452 or email@example.com
