Mentor Orientation

Legacy is a program that supports emancipated foster youth ages 18-24 years old as they make progress towards completing their goals of attaining education and employment in the healthcare field.  Our mission is to support participants through the process of applying for school, obtaining financial aid, completing their educational program, interning in senior healthcare facilities, and obtaining  employment in the healthcare field.

We are looking for mentors with a strong interest in helping a youth.  Ideal mentors will be able to embrace imperfections, model healthy problem solving skills, and stand by participants while they are navigating life struggles.  Additionally, mentors will need reliable transportation and a background check. There is a stipend to reimburse for expenses (mileage, meals, etc.)
