Summer Book Sale

The Friends of the Carlsbad Library will hold their annual Super Summer Book Sale on August 4 and 5 in the Gowland Meeting Room of the Dove Library, 1775 Dove Lane.  Hours for the sale are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 4 and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 5.  Be sure to come in early for the best selection.

There are beautiful new and nearly-new coffee-table and art books, biographies and history books, cookbooks, books on gardening and home design, arts and crafts, music, travel, science and nature, children's books, literature and fiction and much more - all priced way below retail.

Proceeds from the sale go toward the purchase of library books and to fund Carlsbad City Library programs, such as the Summer Reading Program for children and Carlsbad Reads together, the annual community-wide reading event.
