Pro skateboarder and local Tony Hawk hosted a scavenger hunt on Twitter this weekend with more than 80 treasures hidden throughout the U.S. and a few abroad.

Several prize packs, which included skateboards, were hidden in San Diego County, including in Carlsbad, Encinitas, Escondido, Ocean Beach and San Marcos.

Hawk tweet out hints throughout the day on Saturday.

He even had lunch in Encinitas during the "Twitter hunt," which he hashtagged #THTH2014. He treated the first five people to meet him at Chipotle

Some great boards from Tony Hawk were on display a year ago at the William D. Cannon Art Gallery in Carlsbad. I took pics and put a video on Youtube. http://youtu.be/fgTE-yJBSeo
