Rotary Club of Carlsbad Donates Shelter Boxes to Philippines Relief
The Rotary Club of Carlsbad secured over $11,000 in donations which will be used to purchase Shelter Boxes to provide much needed shelter and aid.

In the wake of the terrible tragedy forced upon the Philippines by Typhoon Haiyan, the Rotary Club of Carlsbad has stepped up and secured over $11,000 in donations which will be used to purchase Shelter Boxes to provide much needed shelter and aid.
The generous donations will be used to purchase eleven ShelterBoxes™ which will provide essential shelter, clothing, and sustainment supplies for up to eleven families.
Founded in 2000, ShelterBox (http://www.shelterboxusa.org) is the premier international aid organization that provides emergency shelter and life-saving equipment following disasters such as earthquake, volcano, flood, hurricane, cyclone, tsunami or conflict. Since its inception, Shelter Box has developed into the Rotary’s preferred, go-to project partner for providing assistance in times of disaster.
