Why Men Lose Their Hair and what they can do about it.

Learn about the hidden culprit that can causes men to start losing hair as early as their twenties and how the latest cutting edge treatments can get you back looking like your old self again.

What is male pattern baldness?

Male hair loss, otherwise known as Androgenic Alopecia or male pattern baldness, is most commonly caused when the male hormone ‘testosterone’, is converted by the body into the androgen ‘DiHydroTestosterone’, or ‘DHT’. It is this DHT which inhibits the growth of new hair cells, and also causes existing follicles to reduce in size and eventually fall out, which in turn leads to male hair loss and in many cases, eventual baldness. This condition is largely hereditary and can start causing hair loss in men as early as their twenties.  And of course for many men, this can be very stressful, often causing some loss of confidence and self-consciousness about the situation.

Why is it called male pattern baldness?

The hair loss associated with this condition tends to occur in a set pattern on the head, beginning either at the crown of the head or a receding front hairline. Male hair loss is generally confined to this area from the front hairline to the crown of the head and that is why men who go bald are often left with hair only at the sides and back of their heads. It is unknown why the hair follicles on the sides and back of the head are left completely unaffected by male hair loss.

Can I prevent the onset of male pattern baldness?

Hair loss can be distressing and can lead to reduced self-esteem or even depression, but unfortunately, there is no magic remedy and you can’t altogether prevent hair loss. However, there are cutting edge treatments available to slow down and even halt the progress of male pattern baldness, and if your hair loss is already extensive, there are various hair replacement techniques to fully restore it to your pre hair-loss levels.

For example, Low Level Laser Therapy has proved very effective in many cases for both men and women, especially those in the earlier stages of their hair loss. You can obtain a more detailed explanation with before and after photos at this link. http://www.aahairreplacement.com/laser-therapy

Surgery is another option although it can be very expensive and is not always the best option for younger men in the early stages of hair loss since it is still unknown how extensive their eventual hair loss will be.

Non-surgical solutions often referred to as 'Non-surgical Hair Graphs' or Hair pieces have advanced to a level that the results are often quite remarkable, and so natural that "only your Hair stylist can tell."

Medications such as Minoxidil (Rogaine) and Propecia are another option. Many modern Hair Loss Clinincs combined these various approaches depending on the individual needs of the client to achieve the results they want. The bottom line is that there are very effective solutions available to meet all needs and budgets so men really do not have to live with hair loss any more.

Aristotle felt that by becoming licensed professionals in the U.S. shortly after their arrival to the shores of the U.S., they would have a greater opportunity to receive better clinical positions when they applied for the work-study internships that they were eligible to participate in....' the school told students that were enrolled in masters' degrees that certification as a cna was part of the road to obtaining a masters degree ?? stop right there... masters in public health is an administrative position that has nothing to do with being a cna....and i'm sure people didn't travel thousands of miles to do the grunt work in a hospital.... yea, getting a cna license is a great suggestion for an 18 year old that's going into the nursing field....but not for someone in the masters' program.... and fyi phony college.....in this country a person has to have a 4 year degree before they can apply for the masters' program....
