My husband and I have "Friday date night". We recently went to the "FREE" TGIF concert at Stagecoach Park. Concerts are presented by City of Carlsbad' s Cultural Arts office. 2012 TGIF Jazz in the Park
Our daughter joined us! What a nice evening. We packed our picnic basket with crackers, cheese and wine. We arrived about 5:15 p.m. and the parking lots were getting full. The concert time is 6-8 p.m. Arrive early to get parking and your nice spot and plopped down your picnic gear. Recommend the low to the ground lawn chairs so you don't block view. Although, it is a great evening no matter where you sit. Enjoy Carlsbad, family, friends, people watching, good food and drink and of course the music. There is food for sale there but, I would recommend bringing your own because that is fun to do. We did purchase a "table in a bag" for $35.00.
