Pumpkins and Spice Makes Everything Nice

Sometimes, it’s an old photograph that set’s the mood for re-creating another extraordinary affair. For me it was seeing beautiful pumpkins that shouted out, “why not host a Halloween Party!

Today as I was in stores shopping for a client, everywhere I looked, I saw pumpkins.  I saw big bright orange pumpkins to my left, yellow pumpkins to my right, small pumpkins were in front of me and a host of other pumpkins in between. Most of all, when I stopped and took a second look, I saw the season of the holidays. In the midst of seeing all those pumpkins, I also saw Halloween, I saw parties and celebrations I also saw inspiration!

Isn’t it amazing how just one item can be the inspiration for many fabulous designs, or the catalyst for creating another spectacular event.  Sometimes, it’s an old photograph that set’s the mood for re-creating another extraordinary affair. In this case, for me it was seeing the beautiful pumpkins that shouted out, “why not host a Halloween Party that’s elegant and fun for all to enjoy”. Perhaps by hosting a party, might inspire others to host their own party too this holiday season.  What are a few of your inspirations for the holidays?  I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Professional Tips:

This Halloween, why not fill the room with Pumpkins and spice to set the tone, making everything nice.  For an elegant look, buy various sizes of pumpkins and try spray painting them silver. Strategically place the pumpkins around beautiful spice scented candles and silver candelabras for an added touch.  Fireplace mantels, coffee tables, and the edge of stair cases (spacing about every 3rd or 4th step) are great places to display your pumpkins.  For a bit of glitz’s and glamour, try adding strips of rhinestones from the top to the base of the pumpkin.  Silver thumbtacks work well too and give extra texture to your look.  Use mini pumpkins as place cards for your guest when having a sit down dinner, or if you are having a buffet, you can use mini pumpkins as a way to identify the food selections. Why not serve warm pumpkin soup as your first course and serve it to your guest right out of individualized pumpkins. This would surely be a show stopper for your guest to remember. Whatever you do, have fun, experiment and enjoy showcasing your pumpkins!!

Of course if it becomes too spooky and overwhelming, remember your event planner and holiday home décor extraordinaire is just a phone call away!  D’Vine Expressions

'...MPH degree program to attend a 3-day workshop ... challenge the CNA licensure examination inRead More California.... ... Aristotle felt that by becoming licensed professionals in the U.S. shortly after their arrival to the shores of the U.S., they would have a greater opportunity to receive better clinical positions when they applied for the work-study internships that they were eligible to participate in....' the school told students that were enrolled in masters' degrees that certification as a cna was part of the road to obtaining a masters degree ?? stop right there... masters in public health is an administrative position that has nothing to do with being a cna....and i'm sure people didn't travel thousands of miles to do the grunt work in a hospital.... yea, getting a cna license is a great suggestion for an 18 year old that's going into the nursing field....but not for someone in the masters' program.... and fyi phony college.....in this country a person has to have a 4 year degree before they can apply for the masters' program....
