I am sure your aware Thanksgiving is notorious for being one of the
most dangerous days on the road. The service MrCheckpoint helps
publicize these DUI Checkpoints, Saturation Patrols, and even
Speedtraps throughout San Diego and has over 35,000 twitter followers
and sends text message notifications.
The service is called an enabler by some who think people are avoiding
supportive of promoting and publicizing the DUI Checkpoints.
The service MrCheckpoint took off after Sennett Devermont went through
a DUI Checkpoint and posted it on youtube after being illegally
detained and searched which the footage shows.

From sharing this on other channels it has brought up some controversy on whether this is enabling drunk driving or preventing it. At first thought I figured it was just helping drunk drivers avoid these checkpoints. After some research into some of the checkpoint articles I found that having DUI checkpoints does prevent people from driving drunk because they will take more preventative measures not to end up in that situation.
