Carlsbad Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident
Reynaldo Newman, 53, died Sunday on Harmony Grove Road in Escondido.
Authorities released the name of a 53-year-old man killed over the weekend in a North County motorcycle accident.
Reynaldo Newman of Carlsbad was riding east in the 2500 block of Harmony Grove Road in Escondido when he lost control of his Honda CBR 900RR on a curving stretch of roadway about 9:45 a.m. Sunday, according to the county Medical Examiner's Office.
Newman tumbled down a 30-foot-high bank and landed on a pile of concrete in an industrial yard. He died at the scene.
