Issue: Joining the Labor Party or Is Kate Baby News a Royal Pain?

News that the Duchess of Cambridge had gone into labor put social and mainstream media into hyper-red alert.

Batten down the hatches.  The Kate Middleton Baby Storm is reaching Category 5 hurricane strength. With news that the Duchess of Cambridge had gone into labor to produce a future queen or king of England, social and mainstream media went on hyper-red alert.

Huffington Post reported: “St Mary’s Hospital (where Kate was taken by Prince William without a police escort) is where Princess Diana gave birth to Princes William and Harry and where Princess Anne gave birth to her children. At this time, we don’t know the sex of the baby, as the duke and duchess chose not to find out before the birth. Despite previous reports that Kate is too posh to push, she'll be having a natural birth.”

Because the time of birth is important to bookies and astrologists (Cancer or Leo?), polls are being run.  (And San Diego County moms who give birth at the same moment may become local celebrities.)
