The Carlsbad Educational Foundation is funding teachers, programs and more in CUSD.

DID YOU KNOW: The Carlsbad Educational Foundation is focused on impacting student success in CUSD by funding teachers and over 15 educational programs?!

The start of the new year means new educational opportunities for students in Carlsbad Schools with funding provided through the Carlsbad Educational Foundation.

In the 2012/2013 school year, we’re focused on impacting student success in the Carlsbad Unified School District by funding science and music teachers at all elementary schools and a Lab Assistant at CHS in addition to over 15 educational programs including:

  • Junior Achievement BizTown for all 5th graders.
  • MyAccess Web Based Writing Instruction for all middle school students, Science Olympiad at every middle school and CHS.
  • 3rd grade academy for environmental stewardship at the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation and Discovery Center .
  • FIRST LEGO league’s at all elementary and middle schools.
  • FIRST Tech Challenge robotics at the high school and much, much more!

Funding for these projects could not happen without the generous support of the Carlsbad community and corporations that believe in the importance of education.

With only a  couple more weeks left in our Annual Fund Drive, we are proud to announce that we have reached 86% of our goal. Please help us achieve 100% of our goal and start out your charitable giving in 2013 with a gift to the Carlsbad Educational Foundation. '...MPH degree program to attend a 3-day workshop ... challenge the CNA licensure examination inRead More California.... ... Aristotle felt that by becoming licensed professionals in the U.S. shortly after their arrival to the shores of the U.S., they would have a greater opportunity to receive better clinical positions when they applied for the work-study internships that they were eligible to participate in....' the school told students that were enrolled in masters' degrees that certification as a cna was part of the road to obtaining a masters degree ?? stop right there... masters in public health is an administrative position that has nothing to do with being a cna....and i'm sure people didn't travel thousands of miles to do the grunt work in a hospital.... yea, getting a cna license is a great suggestion for an 18 year old that's going into the nursing field....but not for someone in the masters' program.... and fyi phony college.....in this country a person has to have a 4 year degree before they can apply for the masters' program....
