2 Large Animal Shelters Close, Escondido Shelter Still Open

Residents who have evacuated with large animals can take them to Cloverdale Ranch, 2460 Cloverdale Road, in Escondido, according to San Diego County.

Warner Ranch in Pala and Oceanside Ivy Ranch have closed after receiving no animals.

At approximately 9:30 a.m., Helen Woodward Animal Shelter posted the following additional information on its Facebook page: 

Accepting large animals & caretakers: Del Mar Fairgrounds and San Diego Polo Club (For Polo fields, please call 760-774-2583 ahead of time)
