87-Year-Old Carlsbad Man Killed in Car Wreck Identified
Glenn Snavel died of his injuries after pulling out of a parking lot in the 4900 block of El Camino Real near his home Friday.
Authorities Monday publicly identified an 87-year-old man who died over the weekend from injuries he suffered in a traffic accident near his North County home.
Glenn Snavely of Carlsbad got into a collision after driving out of a parking lot in the 4900 block of El Camino Real ( is in that parking lot) shortly after 5:30 p.m. Friday, according to the county Medical Examiner's Office.
Medics took him to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, where he was pronounced dead late Saturday morning. The cause of Snavely's death was "blunt force" trauma, with cardiovascular disease a contributing factor, the medical examiner reported.
