We need to get these guns out of the hands of deputies, and left in the hands of responsible citizens where they belong! "His injuries are not considered life threatening." Glad to hear, however his actions certainly were. Innocent children could have been seriously injured. "Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence. From the hour the Pilgrims landed, to the present day, events, occurrences and tendencies prove that to ensure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good." -- George Washington, Commanding General of the Continental Army, Father of Our Country and First President of the United States, Address to the 2nd Session, 1st Congress, 1789. The well regulated militia is all of us, with well maintained (regulated) weapons, well practiced and confident in our abilities to protect ourselves and our family and fellows. From who? "The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in Government." -- Thomas Jefferson, Author of The Declaration of Independence, and President of the United States.

While you're guessing, what do you think deputy lame brain's last name is? I may be Crazy Stupid, but I'm not shooting myself accidentally (?) with my own gun, and putting others at risk. At least Barney Fife kept his one bullet in his shirt pocket. But that was tv - let's not forget that everything you see on tv has a script. Read those quotes from Washington and Madison again, then think about the scripted tv coverage of supposed gun violence, then look at what those that call themselves government are trying to do. Start connecting dots. It's very easy to see that there is an organized campaign to disarm Americans. Why? Read the quotes again. If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

People who are "well regulated" - trained, disciplined and experienced - are our militia, whether they work for the government or not. I'd venture to say that deputy numb skull is not well regulated.
