The bodies of a man and woman who appeared to have died in a murder-suicide were found Thursday in a North County home, police reported.

Officers went to the residence in the 400 block of Edgehill Lane in Oceanside about 11 a.m. in response to a request for a welfare check, Lt. Leonard Cosby said. Getting no response from anyone inside, one of them looked through a bedroom window and saw a body on the floor.

The personnel then forced entry and found the unidentified pair, who appeared to be in their late 40s or early 50s. Preliminary evidence indicated that one of the two had killed the other before committing suicide, the lieutenant said. He did not elaborate.

I wonder if this was the one I heard about last night on the news where a couple was found dead and they were also going through a divorce. I know they also interviewed a woman (I am not sure if she was friend or relative) who said the woman was happy and moving on whereas the husband was miserable.
