Burned Body Found at Homeless Camp in Carlsbad

Carlsbad city officials today reported a fatality in connection with the 400-acre Poinsettia Fire.

Fire crews came across a badly burned body in a transient camp in the area of Ambrosia Lane and Calliandra Road, according to a statement from the city. The victim's identity is unknown.
