Bus Line Service Disrupted by Fires in North County

Numerous bus lines were disrupted today because of the fires burning around the region today, the North County District reported.

The agency also had to close the San Luis Rey Transit Center in Oceanside because of a fire. The blaze caused "significant delays" to the 303, 309, 313, and 315 routes, according to the NCTD.

Other fires in Bonsall and Escondido have affected the 308, 351, 353, 354388, 389, and 395 routes.

Major traffic delays were also affecting the 101 route, the NCTD said.

Buses were being staged in unaffected areas to use as necessary, according to an NCTD spokeswoman.

The agency reported that Coaster and Sprinter trains were operating normally as of mid-afternoon.
