Six officers were called to the mall Friday night.
Carlsbad Police officers investigated a package at Poinsettia Plaza on Friday night.
The officers were called to the scene shortly after 5 p.m. The package could be a pressurized water container, perhaps from nearby construction or maybe it fell off a truck, according to Officer Shawn Lawton.
No other information was immediately available.
