Carlsbad Police and FBI Continue Search for Bank Robber

The suspect robbed the bank around 12:36 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.

Authorities are looking for a man suspected of robbing a local bank Wednesday, police said.

FBI Special Agent Darrell Foxworth said the robber entered US Bank located at the 7700 block of El Camino Real in Carlsbad around 12:36 p.m. and ordered everyone to get down on the floor.

"After taking money from one of the teller cash drawers, the robber walked out of the bank in an unknown direction," he said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 60s with gray hair, "slouching posture," about 5’10” to 5’11" tall, and about 160 to 170 pounds. He wore black nylon material over his face, a black baseball cap, a long blue sweater with collar and buttons, and khaki colored pants.
